Learn the fundamentals of CAD (Computer Aided Design) for Jewelry Design & Production with Rhino 7 This Rhino 7 workshop will give you the confidence and skillset to begin to explore this extremely powerful tool for your personal jewelry creations. The options are truly limitless with CAD and your wheels will surely be turning by the time you finish the 3 projects in this course. This course is a project-based approach to covering some of the fundamentals and most used tools of CAD/Rhino 7. We will not be painstakingly going over each tool in the program and therefore this is NOT a lecture or theory class. You will be learning practical skills/tools right away. The Projects: 1. Simple Ring w/Bezel 2. Freeform Pendant w/Knife-Edge Bail 3. Personalized Signet Ring Topics/skills covered in this course are as follows: - Setting up your workspace in the program - Understanding Key Tools and Features - Navigation Basics - 2D/3D Modeling - Rendering/Texturing the final product - Preparing file for casting This workshop is for the absolute beginner - No prior experience in CAD is needed! However, we are currently only offering this course to students that have completed our 7- Week Beginner's Course in hand-fabrication of Jewelry.
