32 Taugwonk Spur, Stonington, CT 06360 Directly North off exit 91 off 95 Starting September 11th Ending October 23rd 6-9pm The class sessions are 3 hours per week and run for 7 weeks, for a total of 21 classroom hours, we can work on which day and time work for you. Join us for your first dive into professional jewelry making. This class is designed to introduce you to the bench, tools, and basic techniques of making silver jewelry. We've designed a course that will increase your comfort and skills with each session. This class is project-based. We've designed specific rings, earrings, and bracelets to help us teach you these skills. You'll create 5 projects over a period of 7 weeks. You'll learn to use pliers, files, a jeweler's saw, hammers, a soldering torch, and how to heavy bezel set stones. All projects are completed in sterling silver with semi-precious stones, and all tools & materials are included in the cost of your class. Students should just show up in workshop apparel and we will take care of the rest! Once completed, this course will open up the world of jewelry design and allow you to take any other workshop or lesson available here at Marquis Jewelry Academy.
