Date: November 2nd, 2024 Time: Chili entries must be at the studio by 11:30 AM to enter. Tasting begins at noon and goes through 1:30 PM. Location: 32 Tauwgwonk Spur Stonington, CT 06378 Calling All Chili Enthusiasts! The wait is finally over! We're thrilled to announce the return of our much-anticipated Second Annual Chili Cook-Off. Students and clients, it's your time to shine in the culinary spotlight. Dust off those secret family recipes and prepare to bring the heat because this year's competition promises to be even spicier! What to Expect: 🌶️ Chili Cook-Off: Registration: All chili entries must be at the studio by 11:30 AM to be eligible for the competition. Tasting: The main event kicks off at noon, where you'll have the chance to sample a variety of mouthwatering chilis. Blind Tasting Vote: Cast your vote for the best chili and help us crown this year's champion. Cornbread Competition: Don't forget about our secondary cornbread contest! Who will take the title of Cornbread King or Queen? Don't Forget to Bring Your Favorite Chili Toppings! We believe that variety is the spice of life, so we invite you to contribute to the chili extravaganza by bringing your favorite toppings to share. Whether it's creamy sour cream, zesty shredded cheese, crispy bacon bits, or fresh diced onions, your additions will make our chili even more delicious and diverse. Let's create a chili masterpiece together! 🏆 Awards Ceremony: At 1:30 PM, we'll gather to announce the winners which will be chosen by blind voting from all guests. Prizes await the chili masters, and trophies will be awarded to the top contenders as well as participation prizes. 🍂 Community and Fun: As the leaves fall and the aroma of chili fills the air, this event is a perfect opportunity for our community to come together. Meet new people, enjoy the beautiful fall day, and savor fantastic food. Last year's event was an absolute blast, but we're on the hunt for some stiff competition this year.
